BBG (Sorority)
Beta Beta Gamma is a small, local sorority sisterhood at UH that I joined in 2017. Being that the organization was self-run by students and small in size, it was an amazing experience to both bond with fellow sisters and learn to promote a small brand among competition from other greek life groups on campus.

I collaborated and lead alongside 20-30 fellow sisters, and gained experience promoting a mission, increasing brand awareness, and establishing a unique and heartfelt identity with my Sisters that we were proud of.
Here are some of my proudest projects:
Recruitment & BRANDing
As the Recruitment Chair (2018) I organized, lead, and promoted a series of awesome Rushes and Socials to recruit new Pledges for the 2018 Fall Semester.
Story
I started planning this video before I had even officially assumed the title of Recruitment Chair- I knew that, as we were hanging out, taking photos, and seeing each other, this was all great video material 👀💖

Editing Software: iMovie '18 💀
Camera: My Pixel 3
Amount of times my computer failed to autosave/erased my entire project: 2 💀💀
Looking back, I am so happy I documented the sisterhood with the ladies I remember. It's a living piece of memory to the time I spent with them- and still a great recruitment video! 😉

Organization & Events & Planning

Yep- sororities take work! Imagine taking the lead in your girlfriends to throw constant recruiting parties on a tight budget and a dream. Catering, venues, decorations, attendance, and activities- we tracked and organized it all!
Behind the cute photos, here are some spreadsheets and documents I created to organize events, delegate responsibilities, and document attendance for both active sisters and some 20-30 interested Rushees. I passed on these materials to the next Recruitment Chair, and I've heard many of them are still being used!

Really, check em out- these spreadsheets are no joke! Wait till you see my .edu inbox 🤣
'Passport' Ads/Booklet

Instead of a pamphlet or individual event flyers (yawn)- why not make a cute passport instead? They were small, portable, and made it easier for Rushees to keep track of deadlines and event information. Loved these!
Branding & Promotions
Shortly after I became an active sister (2017) I immediately jumped right in to become Promotions Chair! This involved designing merch, apparel, and promotional items for the activeship- here are some of my favorite projects!
T Shirts

Every Promotions Chair wants a new shirt for her season- who wouldn't?
I felt that we didn't have enough merch highlighting that we were a local Hawai'i sorority (and the last one on campus). This design was a perfect homage and an instant hit. I still have mine!
Debutante Ball Designs

Even for projects under other leadership, I was always a go-to designer for my sisters and spruced up countless of designs.
This was the brochure for our Beta Upsilon Debutante Ball (and I think I nailed the initial sketch idea 😉)
Flags

Can't get enough of these. We reeeeaaally wanted flags for a while, and so I made that a reality. Made some mockups, threw out a poll for designs, and also opened custom orders for various colors. These flags are still floating around being used by BBG girls to this day!
Fundraising: Wine Glasses

LOVE these glasses! We were looking for a new promotion item, and a sister mentioned having leftover wine glasses from her wedding 👀
A quick mockup, poll, and contact with a local engraver later- and my sisters and I were rubbing in shiny gold paste to these wine glasses up until the night of my own Debutante ball. These glasses still sell at events, and I just bought another one~
SHE'S A BETA BETA GAMMA GIRL
Deadlines, dresses, fundraisers, and photoshoots. I never thought I'd join a sorority but it was one of the best decisions I ever made- so grateful I could learn, grow and lead with these amazing women.
